Sentence and it's part and types/ sentence in spoken English

 aIn this article I'm gonna to share sentence in grammar which is basic concept of our grammar. Now we will know about sentence and  not only it's part but also type of sentences. 






Sentence:-

Sentence is a meaningful group of words which has senseful meaning. 

Collection of words that communicate a complete message is known as a sentence. 


Ex.  Ram is a good boy

        Siya is eatting food. 

         I am giving you tips. 

         I am writting. 



         Part of sentences

Sentence has a main two parts. Which is given below in the image.... 













 





Example:- 


  Raj is dancing on the stage. 



Subject-  Ram

Predicate - dancing on the                           stage. 

















Predicate:-

 Predicate is part if sentence which gives an information about subject. 
Predicate is  divided into two parts that is given in the above image. Preposition is there, so I described in that image. 




Subject:-

We talk about whom in the sentence that called a subject. Action is done by whom/which that is subject. 

In the example above action is done by Ram so Ram is subject because we are talking about Ram in the sentence. Dance is done by Ram. 













                          Type of sentence

There are a 5  type of sentences


   Assertive:-
Declarative / assertive sentences are used to describe something or inform about subject status. 

Ex. Ram is an honest boy. 
        Johnny is eating food. 
        I read books. 
        I was book worm. 





Interrogative assertive sentences:-


A sentences which gives an answer in yes or no that is called a assertive interrogative sentences. 



Example:-

               Do you take a cup of Joe? 
               
               Have you eatten food?  
               
               Can you buy it? 
               
               Did you hear that? 
               
               Are you fond of? 

                Will you have talk with me? 



Interrogative sentences:--



A sentences that has a declarative answer that is called interrogative sentences. 
  That's started from when, what, why, how, etc. 




Example:- 

Why have you done it? 


When did you arrive at there? 


What are you doing? 


What are you sppose to do? 


Why do you not talk with me? 



Negative sentences:-

 I don't know? 

You are not speaking the truth. 

Why aren't you at there now? 

I have not eatten food yet. 

I am not talking to you? 


Exclamatory sentences:-


A group of word are used to express the sentiments when you suddenly receive a good or a bad news. At the time of writing are ended with an exclamation mark (!) 

Sadness
Happiness
Excitement




Example:-


Oops! What happened it! 


What! A beautiful garden! 


Wow! It's fantastic! 


Yippi! We won the match! 











Imperative sentences:-

A sentence is used to give a command, request, to do something that is called imperative sentence. 




Example:-

 Could you do it for me? 


Don't argue. 


Let me call him. 


Let her have marry with him. 


Don't let her take ☕


  In caseTake/ give Permission:-


May I go over there. (Take a permission) 


You can/may go over there.
                                               (Give permission) 

Shall I seat hear. 


Should I come in. 





Command:-


Do come here. 
Don't go to over there. 

Don't spit here. 
Do by yourself. 



Request:-

Let me talk to him. 
Let me meet him last time. 


Can I get chocolate. 
Could I get smile. (More polite)


Would you like to take lunch with us? 
Please, could you let me know about this.
